Youth

Young people play a vital role in the ecovillage movement, and we are committed to supporting the next generation of ecovillagers!

GEN Europe has a thriving youth network that offers opportunities for young people to experience ecovillage living for the first time, connect others with similar interests, learn skills for community living, and much more. Find out how you can get involved in the ecovillage movement as a young person here!

European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps is the European Union initiative that creates opportunities for young people between the ages of 18 and 30 to volunteer or work in projects in their own country or abroad. It provides an opportunity to join meaningful work and experiential learning while your food, accommodation, travelling, pocket money, insurance, and mentorship are provided. GEN Europe and many European ecovillages offer ESC opportunities, and it’s a fantastic way to learn valuable skills while experiencing life inside an ecovillage.
